I am so sad for you. What a wonderful tribute to your love for your service dog. I too have a little 6 year old service dog, Abby, who takes care of me. She is a 4 and half pound Pomerianian who I adore. She is loved by all who meet her. I fear for the day I will have to let her go. My life will be dim, as is yours. I hope you move on to another wonderful experience with a new love. You will always cherish your memories but a door does not close without another opening. God Bless You.
You are right, I am teary eyed and hugging my dear Buddy who is 14 and getting old but still a happy worker with me. He is my best friend and I have depended on him for so much. I can’t imagine losing him. My heart is with this beautiful woman and her dear companion of so many good years.
